Chris Williams, Cub Team Leader at 1st Conwy, was presented with the Bar to the Award for Merit for outstanding service to Scouting by René Stevens as his last official duty as DLV of Conwy Scout District.

Chris Williams has been a dedicated Team member at the 1st Conwy Scout Group for the past 28 years and an excellent role model and cub leader to hundreds of young people. In his younger days, Chris was a Cub at Llandudno Junction, then a scout at 1st Conwy, before becoming a Cub Leader all those years ago. Most of you will have met Chris over the years as he has helped with the District Sports and Orienteering events.
